How Does Hyperhidrosis Treatment Work?
The treatment process begins with a consultation where your practitioner assesses the extent of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), discusses your concerns, and plans the procedure. Before injection, the treatment area is cleansed, disinfected, and a numbing cream may be applied to enhance comfort.
Using very fine needles, the practitioner precisely injects the product into the targeted sweat glands. The product temporarily blocks the nerve signals that stimulate sweat production, effectively reducing excessive sweating. Multiple injections may be administered to cover a broader area, depending on the severity and location of hyperhidrosis.
How Long Do Results From Excessive Sweating Treatment Last?

Am I suitable for hyperhidrosis treatment?
Excessive sweating can affect the entire body, or isolated parts, such the feet or hands. You may be recommended for this treatment if it is found that you sweat more than is considered normal and at times when the body does not need cooling down. The treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Will hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) treatment hurt?
The under-arm area can be more sensitive than other parts of the body, and therefore some discomfort may be felt on injection. HAVA Aesthetics will discuss the use of a topical anaesthetic prior to the procedure, which is typically applied 30-60 minutes prior to the procedure.
Are there any side effects to hyperhidrosis treatment?
Swelling, bruising and small bumps may appear at injection sites. However, these will settle within a few hours.
Are there any aftercare instructions post-hyperhidrosis treatment?
Maintain gentle care, avoid massaging or manipulating the treated area, limit strenuous activities, and refrain from exposing the treated area to excessive heat for a few hours.
When can I expect results from excessive sweating treatment?
