The injections are strategically placed along the group of muscles responsible for furrowing the brow (glabella complex muscles).
Before the procedure, the treatment area is cleansed, and a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort. Using very fine needles, the practitioner precisely injects into the targeted muscles, temporarily blocking nerve signals that cause muscle contractions. As all our treatments are bespoke and take into account the individual’s natural muscle strength, we accordingly adjust the dose of the injections, to maintain the natural look of the face without looking ‘frozen’.

Not much at all. This is a non-surgical procedure, and therefore there is little, if any pain. Some patients may fear needle injections, and in these cases HAVA Aesthetics recommend applying a numbing cream shortly before the procedure to numb the skin and reduce discomfort.
