Using a fine needle, Dr Nimaa injects botulinum toxin directly into the sweat glands in the armpits or wherever is affected.
Multiple injections may be required, depending on the size and location of the affected area.
How quickly will I see the benefits of my hyperhidrosis treatment?
The results will develop over a week, and you will see the full effect of the injections after two weeks, with a significant reduction in sweat production.
How many anti-sweat treatment sessions will I need?
Botox injections are not a permanent treatment, and you will need more than one treatment for excessive sweating.
